Claire L. Hynek

Claire L. Hynek, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Ira E. Hynek, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Gerald Robarge and Evelyn (Zielfelder) Fayant. Claire is survived by her three children, Kimberly Klug and her husband Jacob, Daisy Hynek, and Gerald Hynek and his girlfriend Michelle St. Louis; son-in-law, Charles Roberts; six grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, David, Charles, Jennifer, and Christina; great granddaughter, Sydney; and two sisters, Patricia Parent and her husband Robert, and Marie Hawkins and her husband William. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rebecca Roberts. Funeral services and burial will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
