Claire F. Kilpatrick

Claire F. Kilpatrick passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017 at age 85. Born January 20, 1932 in Norristown, Claire was the daughter of Agnes (Franzen) and John McDermott. She remained a life-long resident and raised her family along with her beloved husband, William J. Kilpatrick Sr. who passed away in 1997. Claire was the loving mother of Eileen J. Kennedy (John), William J. Kilpatrick Jr. (Margie), Gerard Kilpatrick (Rosemary) and Christine Rauch (Taylor) and was preceded in death by her two young children, James and Claire. She was the cherished grandmother of Amy M. Kennedy Hunter (Matthew), Michael J. Kennedy, William D. Kilpatrick, Daniel J. Kilpatrick, Meghan K. Kilpatrick, Brendan D. Kilpatrick, Kyle A. Kilpatrick, Collin T. Rauch, Jacob R. Rauch and Macy E. Rauch and great grandmother of Griffin M. Hunter. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Agnes Tammany and brother, John McDermott, and many friends. Claire was a 1950 graduate of St. Patrick High School and was teacher's aide in the Norristown School District. Claire was very involved in the St. Titus Seniors, serving as president, and the Silver Circle Senior Citizens Club of East Norriton. She traveled extensively with her friends. Claire took such joy decorating for the holidays, especially for her grandchildren, whom she doted on. Relatives and friends are invited to Claire's Life Celebration at St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton PA 19403 on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 10-10:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Titus Catholic Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19403.
