Claire Hope Mahoney-McGuire

Claire Hope Mahoney-McGuire was the daughter of Bradley James Mahoney and Kate Elizabeth McGuire and sister to Teddy Anthony Mahoney-McGuire. When mom found out she was pregnant with twins, she was overjoyed. During the pregnancy, we found out Claire was struggling with severe intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). We were told by multiple doctors that she would not make it to birth. But she did. Claire was born with her twin brother on September 13th, 2025, at 8:39 am. She survived for 11 days in the NICU before her passing. Her mom and dad spent a beautiful last evening with her, showing her the stars and the moon, singing, rocking, and holding her close in her quilt. Her life impacted her mom and dad greatly, as well as many others. She had big, beautiful eyes that were curious about everything around her and some blonde fuzz on her sweet little head. We love you forever, our Claire bear.
