Claire J. (nee: Borelli) Sherwood, age 87 of Fairport Harbor, OH, a homemaker, passed away on Dec. 29, 2021 at Embassy of Painesville. Born Nov. 9, 1934 in Painesville to John and Louise (nee: Tazio) Borelli, she had been a lifelong area resident. Claire was the family caregiver, sitting with anyone of her family that was sick and caring for them. Survivors include her children John (Susan) Sherwood of Painesville and Danny (Dawn) Sherwood of Fairport Harbor; siblings Tom Borelli of Fairport Harbor, Theresa Warren of Madison and Rosemary Lemanski of Hawaii; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parent and siblings Paul Borelli, John Borelli, Albert Borelli, Angeline Raines, Maryann Lombardo and Lois Ryan. Private family services were held.
