Clara Belle Tapparo

Clara Belle Tapparo, 90, passed away peacefully, at Alta Vita Memory Care Center, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Clara was born on October 28, 1934, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She loved to sing, read, dance, solve crossword puzzles, collect bells from all of her travels but most of all be with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed. 

Clara is survived by her daughter, Christine Tapparo, son, Tim Tapparo, daughter-in-law, Karen Tapparo, and her grandchildren, Andy Tapparo and Ashley Walker. She is also survived by her brother, Eldon Reese, brother-in-laws, Glen Monter, Richard Tapparo and Robert Tapparo, sister-in-laws, Patty Reese, Jean Engle, and Judy Tapparo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 5pm to 7pm at the Horan & McConaty Thornton Chapel on Grant Street. A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 9th at 11am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 10675 Washington St, Northglenn, CO with a reception to follow. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
