Clara Ladonne Davis

Clara Ladonne Davis, a woman whose life was defined by devotion to her family and her community, passed away peacefully. Born on January 12, 1937 in Palatka Florida, to Donald Earl. and Lula Lester Willis, Clara grew up with a spirit of service that she carried into every chapter of her life.

Clara was a fixture in the lives of local children for over 27 years, serving as the cafeteria manager at Julington Creek Elementary School. Known for her leadership and care, she ensured every student was well-fed and welcomed. At home, her kitchen was the soul of the family; her Sunday dinners were legendary, creating memories and traditions that her loved ones will carry forever.

Upon retirement, Clara's nurturing nature didn't waver. She spent seven years selflessly caring for her parents and her mother-in-law, a testament to her deep love and loyalty.

Clara was reunited in death with her parents, Donald and Lula Willis; her beloved husband, Joe Kenneth Davis; her son, Donald Andrew Davis; her granddaughter, Christina Davis Golden; and her sister, Eleanor Willis Townsend.

Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Donna Davis Keller (James); Daughter in law Adrienne Rahn Davis, Niece Tina Townsend Lance, nephew Earl Tavy Townsend

and her cherished grandchildren, James Kenneth Keller (Leslie), Gregory Scott Keller (Sarah), and Rebecca Davis Andrews (Kenneth). She was a proud great-grandmother to Avery Suzanne Keller, James Kade Keller, Harrison Lane Keller, Lawson Scott Keller, Greta Mae Golden, Jackson Dean Andrews, and Kenna Rose Andrews.

A small private family graveside service was officiated by her nephew Earl Townsend on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
