Clara Johnson

Clara Johnson, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025 at Stamford Hospital. She was born July 20, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Ed Johnson and Annie Grady. Her devotion and compassion to family and friends will be cherished by family and friends. She is the loving and devoted mother of two sons; Douglas Johnson and Darryl Bonds, three grandchildren; Douglas Hickman, Darryl Bonds, Jr., and Davell Cottrell, two great grandchildren; De'anna Bonds and Davell Cotterell, Jr., her dear friend; Ophal Sutton, special daughter; Alfreda Hicks and a host of cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Ed Johnson and Annie Grady, she is predeceased by her husband Walter Bonds. Visitation will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a service of celebration at 11:00AM at Wilson Memorial COGIC, 164 Richmond Hill Ave., Stamford, CT., Pastor Nate Page, officiant. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery
