Clara M. Heisler

Clara M. Heisler, 85, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Wells Nature View.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Andrew Belt will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Clara was born on June 22, 1940 in Marshfield to Arne and Edna (Schultz) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Eugene Heisler on November 30, 1957 at Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. He passed away on April 5, 2024.

They enjoyed dairy farming for many years, building a farm they could be proud of, including numerous animals on the farm. Her hobbies included a multitude of baked goods for the family. She also enjoyed apple & strawberry picking over the years. She enjoyed bird watching with the various feeders and driving through the zoo, especially feeding the ducks.

She is survived by her daughters, daughters, Janet Aschebrook (Jay Zellner), JoAnn (Michael) Berdan, all of Stratford, and his son, Eugene (Kathy) Heisler, Jr. of Eau Claire, daughter in law, Ann Heisler of Marshfield, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Lyle Heisler, and brother, Melvin Johnson.
