Clara Menser Obituary
Clara Willodean Menser, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, Kentucky. She was born on April 11, 1931, in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to the late Chester Hammond and Vera Miller Hammond.
Mrs. Menser was a founding member of the Dawson Springs General Baptist Church, was co-owner of Menser’s New and Used Furniture and also worked most of her life as a practical nurse. She was also a graduate of Dawson Springs High School.
Survivors include her niece and caregiver ~ Linda (Darrell) Stinson of Dawson Springs, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Menser is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband ~ Leo Menser (departed 1/2/2014); sister ~ Bessie Dunning; and three brothers ~ Monroe Hammond, William Earl Hammond and Harold Owen Hammond.
Graveside services will be held for Clara Willodean Menser on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, Kentucky, beginning at 2:00 P.M. Elder Jeff Winfrey will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be: Rob Linton, Jeremy Haynes, James Earl, Robert Parrish, Brian Cummings and Ryan Linton.
