Clara Trawick was the most kind hearted adult I ever knew. She treated every young person who was ever in her home like her own child including me. She's the reason why I chose the career I'm in now because education was important to her and she made sure I made it through school. I'll never forget how highly she impacted my life and thank her for being a strong female role model.

I failed to mention, while speaking at her funeral, what a wonderful person. I cannot recall anything she put her hands to that she did not master. Clara was excellent with finance being very giving and encouraged you to feel as if you were in a multi-star hotel while in her home. "Nan," we called her, did much with little and extraordinary with much. I miss Aunt Nan immensely. Proverbs 29-30 states, "...Many daughters have done well but you excelled them all."

Aunt Clara was married to my grandmother, Cleo (Trawick) Brown's brother, Clifford. I hadn't seen her in years, but often thought about her. On behalf of the Travick family in Detroit, MI, know what we are truly saddened by the loss of such a beautiful woman and are praying for you all. - Phyllis Travick & Family
