Clara (Phillips) Williamson, 94, of Orlando, passed away on Saturday 9/6/2025.
She was born on October 28, 1930, in Colquitt, GA. The daughter of Mack and Clara “Inez” Phillips. Clara accepted the Lord at a young age and as a teenager she was invited to preach revivals at several churches in Florida and Georgia. She was a wonderful mother of four sons and four daughters so many years she worked as a homemaker and caretaker for her children. Clara was a great cook, enjoyed journaling, she loved to attend church, socialize with friends, and family get togethers.
Clara is survived by five children-Eleanor Aldrich (daughter) and husband James Aldrich, Sondra Capatosto (daughter), Tammie Burke (daughter), Terry Burke (son), Venia Szuchon (daughter) and husband Michael Szuchon, one daughter-in-law, Cathie Daugherty, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, two brothers Jack “Curly” Phillips and wife Joy Phillips as well as Roger Dale Phillips, a loved church family as well as many close friends. Clara was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Inez Phillips, her husband Paul Williamson, three sons, Donny Daugherty, Rendell Daugherty, and Joseph Burke, a son-in-law Donny Capatosto, as well as one brother Arthur Lee Phillips, and a sister Lessie Nell Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am on Friday 9/12/2025 at Sanctuary Church, 2719 Conway Gardens Road, Orlando, Florida 32806. Burial Service will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery located at 2420 Harrell Rd., Orlando, Florida 32817.
