Clarence "Pete" Boening

Clarence "Pete" Herbert Boening, age 87, of Peggy, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 12, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 10, 1937, to Herbert Boening and Leona Tieken Boening in Peggy, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Harold Boening and his wife Carol.
Pete is survived by his children Debra (Rick) Vasquez, Sherry (Scott) Herring, Sandra (Craig Woolly) Broadway, and Cecil (Kristi) Boening; and brother, Roger (Shirley) Boening. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18th at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City, TX. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Fashing Cemetery. A Celebration of Life following the service will be at the Campbellton Hall: 305 St. Francis St. Campbellton, TX 78008.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Vasquez, Craig Woolly, Scott Herring, Andy Boening, Chris Boening, Gary Hierholzer, Philip Tom, J Pat Tom, and John Henke.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in remembrance of Pete Boening to one of the following: the Parkinson's Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
