Dear Judy, I was deeply saddened to find out yesterday that your beloved husband died last month. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Although we have not been in touch for a while, you and Lou have been an important part of my memories of Georgetown. You two were so devoted to each other--it was quite an example for the rest of us. I know that the coming months and years will be challenging for you as you carry on without your husband, so please be kind to yourself.
