Clarence Moon Obituary
Clarence R. Moon Jr. "Brother Moon", age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Bob, lived a life devoted to his family, always putting their needs above his own and making countless sacrifices to ensure their happiness. A lifelong avid Cubs fan, he found joy in cheering for his team and treasured the times he spent fishing alongside his sons and grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marguerite P. Moon (née Skiera); his parents, Clarence Robert and Pauline (née Marentic) Moon; his children: Kathy Moon and Clarence R. Moon III; daughter in law Christine (née Edward) Moon; sister: Roseanne Klen and sister-in-law: Mary Ann Skiera.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Frank (Becky) Moon; grandchildren, Wesley Moon and Eric (Tracy) Moon; step-grandchild, Melanie (Ryan) Choate; and great-grandchild, Addison Choate. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will remember him for his love, generosity, and devotion.
Special thanks to Lightways Hospice for all the care and attention given to Bob during this time.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held with visitation to be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL., prayers will follow and burial will be held privately.
