Clarine V. BARTON, of Lutz, Florida, passed peacefully on November 12, 2025. Clarine was a cherished Christian wife, dedicated daughter, sister, and beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her six children: Debbie Barton, Donna Walters and husband Keith Walters, Ronald Barton, II and wife Jennifer Barton, Larry Barton and wife Rene Barton, Kelli Gochenaur and husband Chris Gochenaur, and Shelli Barton and partner Joshua Knecht. Clarine is also survived by two brothers, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many family members and friends in Florida and Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ronald N. Barton, I on July 12, 2025, as well as, her mother, two brothers, and two granddaughters.

Born on February 17, 1942, in Roderfield, WV, her family moved in her infancy to Long Beach, CA. She reflected fondly on her childhood in California. She was a huge fan of the sci-fi movie experience and the 1950s beach party movies. In her teens, her family moved to Richlands, VA where she met her future husband in high school, Ron (Tazewell, VA). Clarine moved to Tampa, Florida with her husband, and their newborn first child. Ron began carving out a future for them in the concrete and masonry industries. She partnered in the business through bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, scheduling. In later years, she owned and operated Lutz Flowers when it came up for sale (early 2000s).

She was the CEO (or the boss as Ron called her) of the family home. Her home was filled with kids, grandkids, friends of the kids, and all were welcome. Her family and friends recall a lifetime of kindness and generosity of groceries to those in need, homecooked meals, baked goods, and snacks, tricks, scary and sci-fi movie nights, books and lots of reading, happy road trips, vacations, and holiday gatherings of a true traditional housewife.

A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations to Hospice in her name are appreciated: https://www.hospicesupportfoundation.org/donate/
