Mr. Claude “Curly” Allen Williams, 87, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born September 24, 1936, in Forsyth County, the son of Claude Taft and Lillian Jackson Williams. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was the owner of Curly’s Harley Davidson. Curly enjoyed motorcycles, antique cars and tractors. He was an honest hard-working man who was a dear friend to many. He was also a good Christian person who gave his life to the Lord at 8 years of age. Curly is preceded in death by his parents; a sister and a brother. Survivors include his wife, Laura Lea Pegram Williams; two daughters, Laura Jane Williams of Walnut Cove and Mary Kay Sechrest (Frank) of Walnut Cove; a granddaughter, Tracy Burris; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne Crisp and Savannah Crisp and two step grandchildren, Frank Allen Sechrest and Tina Hall. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating. Entombment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 9:15 to 10:45 am Wednesday before the funeral at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 5424 Union Grove Baptist Church, Oak Ridge, NC 27310. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
