When I was about 17 or 18 I met Claude via my brother Steve Jones..both of them were soldiers in Vietnam and I started writting Claude letters. We wrote each other letters for about a year and I lost contact with him..His letters always started with, "Hello Alice. How are you this beautiful day." I always wondered how he could be so cheerful while fighting a war. I received many letters from him and hoped someday I would be able to met him, but I guess it wasn'ment to be. My loss. I am sorry for your loss Claudes dear family and friends..R.I.P. Claude B. Jarrett Jr.
