Major (ret) Cecil Hill
March 27, 2023
I met Major Woodley in 1974 while working in the same office at Castle AFB. As a Staff Sergeant, we worked together closely scheduling the training of both B52 crews and K135 crews. I was assigned to Castle AFB awaiting my release. To say that Major Woodley had a direct impact on my life would be an understatement. Because I had come from one of the most secretive commands in the Air Force, I did not know how the Air Force operated. The Major and I became best friends and what I learned from him pretty well changed my life. I volunteered (I had been a Chinese linguist) for another language and was immediately accepted to attend the Foreign Language Institute for Hebrew. I often think of Claude as a mentor who changed my life. Rest In Peace, my friend.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Claude Woodley, loving father of Claudia Ann. He will be missed by his daughter. He was a loving and protective father who will be missed by everyone he touched.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Just wanted Claude's family to know others are thinking of you and sharing your sorrow. May Job 33:25 comfort you to know that when Claude awakens from sleep, he will live each day to the full with youthful vigor.
May God's Word, your treasured memories and your loving family and friends continue to be a source of strength for you at this difficult time.
With Deep Sympathy,
JR
