From a young age, she displayed a remarkable zest for life and a compassionate nature that would touch the lives of many. She was a beacon of light, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of wisdom to those in need.
Bobby and Claudette met at his brother's wedding in June of 1957 and married on November 22, 1957. They were only married a few weeks before Bobby was drafted into the Army and had to leave for basic training in Ft. Leonardwood, MO. He signed up to be a paratrooper and was eventually stationed in Clarksville, TN where they lived for 15 months for his active duty. After that, they moved to Henrietta, TX where they began a family with the birth of Deborah and Scott and lived there for 10 years before moving to
Lewisville, TX in 1969. Bobby and Claudette celebrated 66 years of marriage on November 22, 2023.
Claudette dedicated her life to her family, raising her children with unwavering love and devotion. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and laughter, where countless memories were made. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren showering them with affection and imparting valuable life lessons that will forever guide them. Claudette loved nothing more than having her family over for a home cooked meal and then gathering afterwards in her living room 'visiting' with one another.
Claudette was a woman of many talents and passions. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and planting flowers where she found peace and tranquility in the embrace of nature. She enjoyed scrapbooking and creating memorable albums of her family. She was a wonderful seamstress and a fantastic cook! Her family will miss her homemade fried chicken, mashed potatoes and chocolate pies, just to name a few of her most famous recipes.
Throughout her life, Claudette was known for her unwavering faith and spirituality. She found solace in her religious beliefs and was an active member of Lewisville Church of Christ. Her faith provided her with strength during challenging times and served as a guiding light in her journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Lewisville Christian School where Claudette taught Pre-school and Kindergarten for 17 years or Christ's Haven for Children as it was a cause close to her heart.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that Claudette is now reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may her memory continue to inspire us to live our lives with love, compassion and grace.
