Claudette Dale Lankford

Claudette Dale Lankford (Robbins), devoted wife and mother, went to be with her Lord on October 18, 2025 at the age of 86.
She was born in Torrington, Wyoming December 13, 1938. She grew up moving from town to town in Wyoming and Nebraska as her family followed a variety of work. She then settled in Cheyenne where she met her husband Glen. When they married, they set off together living the life of a Navy family, spending time in Georgia, California, and since 1968, Oak Harbor and Mount Vernon, Washington. They raised three children together in a loving, close knit home. Claudette and Glen recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Claudette worked in secretarial and administrative jobs at the State of Wyoming, Skagit Valley College and Anacortes Convalescent Center. After retiring she developed a love for antiques and enjoyed shopping for her favorite items and selling them while working at the Red Door Antique Mall in Mount Vernon with her daughter Charlene.
She loved spending time with her family and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Claudette is survived by her husband Glyndon (Glen) Lankford, her children Dale (Wanda) Lankford, Charlene (Chris) Kading, Lori (Mark) MacKenzie, brothers Burton and Andrew Leach, and sister Kathy Ward, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her family is so thankful for the time they had together over the past few months and for the care she received at Skagit Valley Hospital and Mountain Glen Assisted Living.
She will be dearly missed.
