Claudia Manuela Cox, 49, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, passed away on Monday December 9th, 2024. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Claudia lived in Manahawkin, NJ, for 20 years before moving to Little Egg Harbor in April of this year. Claudia worked as a shift manager at AutoZone in Barnegat, NJ, previously working for New York Community Bank for 16 years, and was a member of St. Theresa’s church in Little Egg Harbor. More than anything, Claudia cherished spending time with her family, who she loved dearly. An animal lover of every kind, Claudia had a special place in her heart for her dog “Butterscotch” and cat “Hobbes.” Claudia found joy in cooking and baking, as well as watching her favorite tv show “Friends.”

Claudia is survived by her husband Paul Cox of Manahawkin, NJ, son Zachary N. Cox and his girlfriend Joyce Castrovilly of Atlantic City, NJ, parents Claudio M. Moniz and Maria E. Moniz of Florida, and sister Helena Moniz Rizzuto and her son Michael Rizzuto Jr. of Union, NJ.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 17th, 2024, from 4pm-9pm and on Wednesday December 18th, 2024, from 930am-1030am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor, NJ, 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at 11am at St. Theresa’s Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Popcorn Park Zoo of Forked River, NJ.
