Claudia Deeds Obituary
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Kendall and husband Dale; a son, Dwayne Deeds and girlfriend Mary Weedon; 2 grandchildren, Julius and Delainey; 2 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Doc Metz.
She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Hazel Jones and Sandy Newcomer, a brother Junie Metz, and a sister in law, Sue Taylor Metz.
She was a graduate of Frederick High School, class of 1963. Claudia started her career at Sagners, she worked at many different companies including Zayre's, Service Merchandise, and Frederick Computers. She retired from Chase Bank in 2010.
She enjoyed travelling, crafting, and was an avid Bingo player for many years. She also enjoyed weekly Friday night Yahtzee games with her family.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 10:30 am, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD. The family will receive friends in the funeral home at 10:00 am, 30 minutes prior to the service.

My condolences to Claudia´s family. I met Claudia years ago when she worked at Frederick computers, and later I had the pleasure of working with her again at Chase Bank. Claudia was such a great person always fun to be around. I traveled with her and her family to Hawaii years ago and had the best time. Claudia will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Claudia's passing. I worked with her at Frederick Computer Products and we had a lot of fun socializing outside of work. I hadn't seen her in years until she came to visit when my husband passed in May. We were going to get together when my life settled and I'm sad we didn't get the chance.

My deepest condolences to the Family. I will always remember Claudia as a true friend. No matter where You see Her if She knew You, She would welcome You as Her friend. We met through working together over 40 years ago. I will always remember the fun times at work and seeing Her at Bingo. I would always laugh with Her when the Bingo was held by Felicia and on Thursday nights at the Elks. Claudia You will really be missed.

Oh, Claudia. Even though our friendship was for a good many years---so many years ago, for a certain length of time---I've never forgotten you. You were a genuine human being with a very kind and loving heart. We never forget how we can touch someone else's life while we walk our paths. I lost track of you so long ago, but always thought about you---Frederick, Braddock Heights. We were there for each other during some troubling times. My most sincere condolences to your entire family. When someone we love dies, there is an empty space that can never be filled. There will always be that quick ache in our hearts for such losses, but life goes on. Grief has no time table. Hold tight to all your sweet memories.
