Claudia Mae Pant

Claudia Mae Pant of Swanton, Ohio was born on December 20, 1931 and died January 5, 2026 in her home, at the age of 94. Claudia was the daughter of Claude and Violet Turner. She was the wife to Gale Leroy Pant, beginning on August 25, 1950 until Gale's passing on August 6, 2014. She was the secretary to Holland Septic Tank Services in which she and Gale ran for over 50 years.

Claudia was an incredible woman and mother. Claudia's greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother from the parent club to running a business, being a homemaker and a caregiver; selfless time and love always given. She was a brilliant, funny, charismatic woman. She loved to make fudge, potato salad, ground bologna, goulash and whatever she thought you enjoyed.

She enjoyed playing games/cards, casinos, camping, hanging out with the grandkids, square dancing, and talking and joking around. She crocheted Afghans for all in her family and then some, and was still working on one before her passing. She enjoyed a good margarita. She would express many phrases that would make you smile.

She did not have favorites, as you were her favorite. She traveled many places within the United States and outside the U.S. with her in-laws: Lloyd (Barbara) Pant; Thomas (Denise) Pant; Richard (Marcia) Pant and James Pant. So much laughter within her circle. Her circle included many great friends throughout her life.

Preceding in death: husband, Gale Leroy Pant; parents: Claude Turner and Violet (Pete) Cable; brother, Ellsworth Turner. Claudia is survived by her 3 children: Garry Pant (Sherry); Deborah (Richard) Hinz; and Douglas (Dawn) Pant. She is the grandmother of 10; great grandmother of 16; and great -great grandmother of 2. She was the eldest sister to Willard Turner, Gertrude Fogle, and Lee Turner (Sharon).

Claudia will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be held at the Reeb Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2025 from 10am until the funeral starts at 12pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
