Claudia Perez,51, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 18, 2025.
Born on February 10, 1974, in Jalisco, Coahuila, Mexico, she was the beloved daughter of Herlinda Cervantez.
She married Pedro Perez, Jr. on May 1, 1993, in Gonzales, California.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years of Uvalde; mother, Herlinda Cervantez of California; two daughters, Chanel Perez and Jayleen Luna and husband, Elijah all of Uvalde; two sons, Pedro Perez, III and wife, LeAna and Rogelio Perez all of Uvalde; two sisters, Adriana Marez of California and Sara Chavez of Oklahoma; two brothers, Cesar Cervantes and Rigoberto Munoz both of California; three cherished grandchildren, Elijah Luna, Eliora Luna and Mateo Perez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to honor Claudia's memory with a visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Following the service, interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Elijah Luna, Rogelio Perez, Pedro Perez, III, Julio Perez., Jason Perez, and Adan Perez.
