Claudis Jr. Goshen made his grand entrance into this world on Wednesday, November 28, 1956. He was born to the union of Clarence C., and Anna Mae Torence Goshen in Camden, Arkansas.
He accepted Christ at a tender age and was baptized as a member of New St. Mary Baptist Church. He was an energetic boy who grew up to be a hardworking young man. Claudis was a graduate of Harmony Grove High School. He was outgoing and charismatic. He loved watching basketball, football, and boxing.
He met the love of his life at a youthful age, Jacqueline “Jackie” McClure. They united in holy matrimony and to this union, three beautiful girls were born. “Jackie” combined her two favorite hobbies to build and keep a lovely home for her family. Together, they enjoyed fishing and listening to the blues. Claudis worked for ACME Brick as a machine operator in Malvern, Arkansas. He made friends easily and connected with others well.
Claudis was a true outdoorsman. He took pleasure in riding back roads and hunting. He was known for his bold humor, his infectious laughter, and his happy-go-lucky nature. On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Claudis went home to be with the Lord. His solemn goodbye is a constant reminder that life is uncertain, and death is sure. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will last a lifetime.
