Clearence Truman Cooley Obituary

Mr. Clearence Cooley, husband of Patricia Cooley, son of the late Erskine F. and Ella Mae Cooley, Sr., passed Saturday, October 18, 2025.
He was a graduate of Sterling High School. He was an entrepreneur, owning Cooley and Sons House Moving services. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking, socializing, being a handy man, watching his western movies and caring for his family.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his wife, Patricia Cooley; sons, Reggie (Teresa) Jones of Lyman, SC and Marcus (Fredericka) Cooley of Piedmont, SC; daughter, Kimberly (Demetrius Fowler) Grisson of Piedmont, SC; reared in the home Reginald Grisson of North Carolina and Taquita (Tabvian Hall) Grisson of Piedmonth, SC; sister, Betty E. Cooley-Wright of California; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven grands and greats grands in love; his aunt, Dorothy Cooley-Scott of Greenville, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Aydan Fowler, brothers Erskine Cooley, Jr. and Willie James Cooley.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 31, 2025, 1:00 PM at Nicholtown Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
