Clella Ruth Smith

Clella Ruth Smith, 100, of Danese died on Friday, December 12, 2025 in Rainelle.
She was the daughter of Dewey and Verna Harrah Price.
In addition to her parents, Clella is preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Eugene Callison; her second husband, George Donald Smith; son, Roger Eugene Callison; and sister, Glenna Mae Price.
Those left to cherish her memory include: daughter, Brenda (Jack) Pugh; daughter-in-law, Drema Callison of Shady Spring; grandchildren, Loretta (William) Ballenger, Jason Pugh, Lisa Callison, Russell (Emily) Callison, and Ryan Callison; and great-grandchildren, Sean, Brittany, Breanna, and Sandra Sue.
Clella was a member of Layland Baptist Church until 2011. She recently attended Zickafoose Memorial Church and Green Valley Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star; had worked as a beautician and at Hill's Department Store in Beckley for 15 years.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17 at Wallace and Wallace, Rainelle at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Joe Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17 from noon until time of service.
