Cleon Henry

The sun rose on June 17 1972 when Noel and Daphne Henry received the gift of life to the late
Cleon "Tommy" Henry. He was the Second to last of seven children – 5 boys & 2 girls. Early in
life he grew up in Lewis, St. Ann where he attended Holiness Temple Church where he was
saved and fully involved with the church. Cleon attended the St Ann's Bay primary then on to
York Castle High School and then Brown's Town community college. He later migrated to the
United States in 1992, where he continued with the church. Cleon remains active with the
church and attends weekly events and Sunday services.
Cleon was a jovial, free spirited person and well loved by his friends and families. Some fond
memories of Cleon while working at the Athlete Foot Store as the store manager. He was
known for giving the best discounts and every one would visit while in town.
On Tuesday May 10th the Sun went down, an angel was called "Come unto me and take your
rest and he answered".
Cleon otherwise known as "Tommy" leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters Deon and Althea
Henry and Brothers; Wayne Brown, Wayde Tavares, Evroy Henry; loving and devoted Nieces
and Nephews Anecia Watkis,Timoya Carby, Loyld Burke, Ocara Carby,Toby Hamilton, Roleen
Davis, Jonathan and Jada Brown, Davain, Tony, Briana Tavares, Isisah, Jada Henry, Nicholas,
Jeremy and Jahmal Henry, Shantel and a host of cousins, aunts, uncle, sister's in-laws, brother
in-laws, grand nieces and nephews and many many families and friends.
Those who preceded him in death, his sibling Douglas Henry and parents Daphne and Noel
Henry.
