Cleon Cornelius Jones

Cleon Cornelius Jones, son of Barbara Ann Dorsey and Ronnie Jones was a person of many faces. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and a good buddy to many.

Cleon was an amazing athlete throughout his junior and senior high school which landed him an athletic scholarship at Albany State University.

Cleon worked at Greyhound in Birmingham, Alabama before returning back to Jacksonville where he worked with the City of Jacksonville until he made the decision to focus on his health.

He spent his life spreading laughter, popping up to everybody's house, sharing an occasional dance lesson while maintaining and working. JOB WELL DONE!!!

If I had to speak from Cleon to ALL the kids in the family, I would remind each of you just how much he loved you and will continue to watch over and support you.

Cleon was preceded in death by his parents, Barabara and Ronnie; grandparents, Carrie and Charlie Dorsey, Tommie Lee and Ellis Jones; uncles: Charlie Dorsey Jr., Vincent Dorsey, Carlos Jones, Thirza, Ellis and aunts: Diane Dorsey, Dorothy Baker, Dollie Mae Williams, and many cousins resting before him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving wife, Renee Jones; daughter, Dajah C. Jones; grandsons, Kavion and Karter, sisters: Tonya (Bo), Ronetta (Maurice); brother, Marcus (Rhonda);aunts: Mary, Hazel (Anthony and Larry), Charlene (Charlie), Patricia; uncle, Donnie Lee; nieces: Keirra (Cal'Leigha, Curteeya, Curtis, and Corbyn), nephew, Keith Johnson (Keith Johnson, Kemoura, and Kemourie); and extended family from Birmingham: Clifford Watson, Cedric
