Cleveland "Buddy" Bailes, Jr. passed away Wednesday July 23rd at NE Ga Med Center following a brief illness.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 27th from 3-5, with funeral services following at 5 pm, at Memorial Park Chapel. Scott Strickland will be officiating.
Buddy served in the US Army from 1965 – 1967 and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He also retired from Hall County Public Works Department.
Buddy is survived by his wife Beverly Tatum Wigington Bailes, son Jason Bailes (Nicole), daughter Peggy Griffin (Rusty), son Jeff Wilcox (Cher), daughter Shelley Patterson (Scottie), son Matt Wigington (April), grandchildren Justin Bailes (Matite), Leanna Combs, Dillon Wilcox, Hannah Wilkins, Dalton Phillips, Jaden Bailes, Kaylyn Bailes, Nick Leach, Casey Leach, Codie Patterson, Audrey Thomas, Autumn Thomas, Nolan Thomas, Caitlyn Wigington, Codie Patterson, great grandchildren JD Wilkins, Karter Wilkins, Ava Barnes, Rowan Barnes, sisters Bobbie Sue Rucker and Kathleen Hakes
The one who leaves a legacy of love to the generations that follow has lived a life worth remembering. The one who leaves gentle footprints on our hearts has left a story worth telling. The one who leaves happy memories dancing in our thoughts has given the gift of timeless moments worth holding in our hearts forever.
