CLIFFORD ANDREWS
1932 ˜ May 12, 2024
Clifford Andrews, 91, of Vancouver, WA, passed away May 12, 2024.
Clifford was born in 1932 in Ilwaco, WA, to Albert and Adeline Andrews. He had one brother, Wayne; and four children, David, Dennis, Linda and Corey. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley. Clifford spent his entire working life with the phone company where he was a telephone repairman and then a repair crew supervisor and eventually retired. He will probably be remembered most for being a real ’character’ in the best sense of the word. He loved to kid and joke around with people and laughter seemed to follow him around.
There will be a celebration of his life where you can hear plenty of stories about the character known as Cliff. It will be held on June 23, 2024, from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at Jantzen Beach, 909 N Hayden Island Dr., Portland, OR.

I knew Cliff in Junior high and High School. He and Wayne were always friendly and a joy to be around. Cliff was also a gifted athlete in Basketball and Baseball. My condolences go out to Wayne and Cliff's children.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Cliff. He was a great person and friend. I worked with him at the phone company. He was always friendly and had a smile on and the haircut! You will be missed Cliff. Rest In Peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. Cliff (and Shirley) were friends with my parents through the Boat Club in the 1960´s - 1970´s. I remember our families boating and camping together. Though I was young, I remember Cliff always having a smile and fun to be around. So sorry for your loss.

I have known Cliff, for what seemed as Eons. He played ball with my Dad, and went to the state championships with him. When I started working at the phone company, I had met Cliff, and he had the same hairstyle he had when he played ball with Dad. He never aged, and was always available for great stories, or a great laugh! He was also a real pleasure to work with.He was a wonderful human
being, and will be greatly missed RIP Cliffy
