Clifford Boyd Obituary
Clifford was married to the love of his life, Charlene Boyd, for over 60 years. Together they built a strong and loving family that was always the center of his world. He is survived by his children: Diane Wright (Robert), Eric Larkin (Valerie), and Rene Woods; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, close family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Clifford Boyd Jr.
Clifford dedicated over 50 years of his life to the automotive industry, proudly working with General Motors and Joseph Chevrolet. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he earned the respect of colleagues and friends throughout his long career.
Outside of work, Clifford had a love for gadgets, technology, and electronics. He enjoyed friendly games of Bid Wiz and Spades, where laughter and competition were always welcome. His warm and friendly personality, boisterous laugh, and favorite saying, "Jim-a-knee," will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him.
Clifford Allen Boyd will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the joy he brought, the lessons he shared, and the unwavering love and PATIENCE he gave to his family.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
