I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Butler's passing. He was always a caring, interested principal at Forest Lake Elem. He had such a warm personality and genuine care for students and their learning progress. He'll be missed!

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Butler's death. He was my first male teacher, 6th grade, Oakwood Grade School, Columbia Heights. I remember him as a strong, athletic, handsome man who played softball with us on the playground. Since this was the year I started to show something as a student, I hold him at least partially responsible. Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts. These and my prayers are with you, his family.

Aunt Dorothy, Heidi and Murray, I'm so sorry about your loss. You all must have had a rough week. Just got Aunt Dorothy's note a couple of days ago before the problems began and it provides such a contrast. My prayers are with you all. God bless.

Dorothy, Heidi, Murray, and family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Cliff. He was a treat.
He loved his family and life in general. I'm glad Dorothy and Cliff came to my parent's party. It was great to see the both of you, we had a good time that day. He will be missed. You're family is in our prayers.

Such a loss for everyone who knew Cliff. I worked at the Forest Lake Elem School as a teacher's aide when he was principal and enjoyed many a good time with him. He so enjoyed working part time at the bank and I constantly teased him about sharing the money he counted and asking if there was any extra. He always had a smile and enjoyed everthing going on around him. He will be missed.
