Clifford Alonzo Herold Jr.

His Legacy Clifford Alonzo Herold Jr., age 87, passed away June 11, 2022. He was born on October 22, 1934, in Columbus, OH to Clifford and Jeanette (Newton) Herold. Cliff married the love of his life, Patricia Brown, on April 26, 1957 in Grand Rapids, MI. In 1962, Cliff and his family moved to Howell. He was very active at St. John Episcopal Church in Howell. He was a lay reader and Sunday school teacher for the teen group. Cliff was a mentor for Junior Achievement. The group he mentored made roadside assistant kits. Their product was profitable, and they were able to return dividends to supporters. Cliff was a member of the Buick Car Club since the 1970s and showed different models of Buicks. He was a part of the Buick Driving Enthusiasts group and went touring throughout the United States. Cliff's favorite car was his 1947 Buick. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Cliff will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family Cliff leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Patricia; sons, Clifford Alonzo Herold III and Thomas Andrew Herold; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William Herold.
His Farewell Cliff's graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11:30AM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI. Memorial contributions are suggested to Michigan Hospice.
