Clifford St. Jean Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charles Coelho Funeral Home - Central Falls on Dec. 4, 2025.
Clifford Joseph St. Jean, Jr. of Attleboro, MA, formerly longtime of Cumberland passed away on the morning of December 4, 2025, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Mr. St. Jean was 78 years old. He is reunited with the love of his life, his late wife Betty Ann (Harris) St. Jean, who passed away February 9, 2022.

Mr. St. Jean was born at the formerly Notre Dame Hospital in Central Falls on May 12, 1947, son of the late Iren (Gaumond) and Clifford J. St. Jean, Sr. Clifford was raised in Cumberland and at the age of 15 met Betty Harris and would go on to love her for the rest of his life. He joined the United States Navy, serving as a Data Processing Technician with Supply. With a talent for being handy, Clifford worked for several manufacturing factories in the local area. He was a "jack of all trades" of sorts.

NASCAR was a true enjoyment for Mr. St. Jean, with a special place in his heart for "The King" Richard Petty and his "43" car. He, himself raced cars at the Seekonk Motor Speedway, a venture that brough praise from his daughter but, not from Betty… Clifford was also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved Scratch Tickets. Mr. St. Jean was a joy to be around, he enjoyed people and would entertain with his goofy sense of humor.

As Clifford reunited with his beloved wife of 52 years, you can bet Betty heard his signature "BA BA BA BARRR", as he entered…

Clifford Joseph St. Jean, Jr. is survived by his beloved daughter Tina L. Champeau and her husband Mark, Sr. of Attleboro. He was the proud "Appo" of Mark D. Champeau, Jr. and his wife Kayla and Kate-Lyn McMahon and her husband Zachary. Clifford was the "Apa" of Bentley Clifford McMahon, Mark David Champeau III, Mya Alice Champeau, Audrey Jean-Marie McMahon and "Old Man Jenkins" to his buddy Luke Joseph McMahon.

All services for Mr. St. Jean will be held privately. The Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI is entrusted with arrangements.
