Clint Byron Simmons, 65, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 9, 2026, at his residence in Clanton, AL.
He was born June 20, 1960, in Georgia, son of the late James Simmons and the late Lola Yawn.
Being as good as he knew how to be, he would give anything that he could to help others. He was stern in his beliefs, and fierce when it came to defending those he loved. He was a Construction Worker, and his work was his passion. He never missed a day of work until he was put in the hospital. When he wasn't able to physically work, he would still go and teach everyone he could the valuable knowledge he had of construction work. He had a great patience with the younger workers on the crew. Anyone that knew him, knew he was the music man. He always had to have a stereo (good) playing all the time, no matter where he was or who was around him. He always knew exactly the perfect music to play.
Surviving are his Daughter, Megan (Nick) Burnett; Significant Other, Belinda Ann Simmons; Step-Sons, Darryl Wayne (Wanda Gail) Sims, II, Joshua Winfield (Angela) Cornell; Brothers, Jimmy Allen Simmons, Donald Jackson, Billy Wayne Simmons, Daniel Keith "Danny" Simmons, Kirk (Traci) Jackson; Sisters, Teresa (John) Donovan, Dianne Tannell Simmons, Tammy Lola Crosby; Grandchildren, Colt Burnett, Natalie Burnett, Cole Sims, Lexi Sims, Kaidance Sims, Hannah Cornell, Macie Cornell, Liam Willis; Great- Grandchild, Raelyn Jade Sims; "Second Dad", Wayne Barron.
