Clinton Malone Bowles

Clinton Malone Bowles, 75, of North, Virginia passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Mr. Bowles was born on November 24, 1942 in Waynesboro, VA and was the son of Burl and Ola Bowles. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Kay Hartley who he married on May 28, 1985. Clinton retired from International Paper and Lucent Technology. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was the past president of the Piankatank Ruritan Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Bowles; 2 brothers, Danny Bowles and Burl Bowles, Jr. Other surviving relatives are 2 sons, Robin Bowles of Georgia and Aaron Bowles of Chesterfield, VA; 1 sister, Deloris Walden; 1 brother, Benny Bowles of Georgia; 1 grandson, Drew Bowles; 5 step-grandchildren, Megan Gaye, Brandon Gilbert, Brittney Gilbert, Bristol Gilbert and Brooklyn Hampton. A Memorial Service will be conducted by Chaplain John Seltzer on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, VA.
