Clinton E. “Clint” Leipold, 59, of Altoona, passed away Monday February 2, 2026. He was born on September 10, 1966, son of the late Edward Jr. and Carol (Grassi) Leipold. He was preceded in death by three aunts: Diana (Grassi) Stitt, Judith Sanders, and Susan Cullen. Clint is survived by three aunts: Carmel Hicks, Linda Knorr, Elizabeth (Kent) Shade, and by numerous cousins. Clint was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He was a talented cook, spending most of his adult life in food service and was formerly employed at Maybrook Hills and most recently worked at Taps on 2nd Tavern & Grill. Clint was a long-time parishioner of St. Marks Catholic Church where he volunteered as an usher in his younger days. He was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and enjoyed listening to and collecting hard rock music. Clint was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, a frequent contributor to local sports talk shows, and he was always willing to voice his opinion. The family asks if able, to please make donations in Clint’s memory to Tunnels to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY. 10306 or at t2t.org. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 416 Sixth Ave., Altoona, with the Rev. Nelson Javier TOR, celebrant. Committal at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
