Wray and I had some good times in high school and even a few as adults. He was always a good friend and will be greatly missed. If the family needs anything, I happen to be in town this week and will help any way that I can.

Wray McDaniel was one of those friends from high school who left a lasting impression, someone whose passion for music never faded with time. He deeply loved Drum Corps International and carried that same pride and devotion for the Summerville High School band, always cheering them on and appreciating the discipline and heart behind every performance. Music wasn´t just a hobby for him-it was part of who he was, a source of joy, connection, and purpose. His enthusiasm, loyalty, and spirit will be remembered by everyone who knew him, and his absence is felt more deeply than words can express.
