Clive C Whittingham Sr

Clive Clinton Whittingham Sr., age 75, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed peacefully into the arms
of our Lord and Savior Jesus on November 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., after complications with Parkinson's Disease.
Born on September 3, 1950, in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Maxwell and Federine Whittingham, Clive lived a life marked by devotion and a tireless pursuit of excellence. He dedicated much of his career to serving others as a professional butler and chauffeur for several notable U.S. Government political figures as well as for the founding conductor of the Washington Chamber Symphony. Through these roles, Clive found himself present for extraordinary historical moments-always with quiet dignity and marked professionalism.
A true craftsman at heart, Clive was known to family and friends as "the constant tinkerer."
He found joy in repairing, restoring, and reimagining the world around him. His love for reggae music filled his home with rhythm and warmth, while his passion for collecting watches and clocks reflected his deep appreciation for the passage of time. Clive also delighted in abstract art and never missed action-packed professional wrestling.
Clive is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly "Dearest"; sons, Kirk and Clive Jr.;
daughter, Kerry-Ann; and cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaakan, Natanya, Mary, and Niya.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings-Asis, Neville, Norman, and Errol-who now welcome him home.
