Clyde "Tommy" Bostic

Tommy Bostic, age 58, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County. Born February 9, 1959 in Cleveland County, he was a son to the late Robert Bostic and Mary M. Earley Bostic. Tommy was a self-employed landscaper and was of the Baptist faith. He loved working outdoors and raising chickens. He especially loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Bostic. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of twenty-two years, Hellena S. Bostic; four sons, Clyde T. Bostic, Jr. and wife, Kim of Forest City, John Robert Bostic, Jerry Lee Bostic and Joshua Craig Bostic all of the home; one daughter, Rebecca Marie Hollifield and husband, Josh of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bostic of Spindale and Rose Marie Ferree and husband, Page of North Myrtle Beach, SC and one brother, Robert Franklin Bostic of Forest City. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Lindsey Darlene Bostic, Dawson Hollifield and Jax Hollifield. A gathering of friends and family will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the home of Tommy and Hellena Bostic.
