He is survived by his daughter- Melanie Bilbrey and her husband David of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren- Brandon Bilbrey and Brooke Bilbrey and longtime companion Amelia "Susie" Flanders of Crossville, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings- Anna Ruth Cunningham Walker, Billy Gene Cunningham, Donald Lloyd Cunningham and infant Bobby Lee Cunningham.
Graveside services will be held Monday February 16, 2026 at 1pm at Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Neighbors (36 years) in Brookhaven.....Lots of memories of Melanie growing up with our 2 sons.... We had 2 baseball players and Jerry had his majorette/ beauty queen! Jerry was concerned that a baseball would take out his picture window one day as the yard between our homes was a ball field for the neighborhood baseball games! We never told Jerry that Melanie (introducing us to her new tap shoes) had chipped out a memory on our freshly poured concrete pad!
