Clyde Lunsford, age 85 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Friday February 9, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born March 14, 1938 to Elmer and Mary Baker Lunsford of Brodhead, Kentucky.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen L. Lunsford, daughter Patricia(Jack) Davis, Karen(Terry) Taylor. He is preceded in death by his son Rodger Lunsford, and 2 great grandchildren Mason and Nevaeh.
Clyde has 7 grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Daniel, Sherri, Debra, Amanda and John, 9 great grandchildren: Austin, Isiaih, Isabella, Connor, Lillian, Jackson, Jaclyn, MacKenzie, Luke and another on the way and 1 great great granddaughter: Paisley, and a sister on the way.
In addition to his parents, son and grandchildren, Clyde was preceded in death by his 6 brothers: Frank, Albert, Bill, Bob, Everett and Harold Lunsford and his 2 sisters, Iva Houk and Evelyn Frith.
He leaves behind a host of friends and family.
Clyde loved the Lord. He loved being a pastor at Valley Baptist Church in Reading, Ohio. He really enjoyed teaching the youth in our churches. He was always thrilled to see lives changed when they believed on the Lord.
Visitation will take place on Thursday February 15, 2024, from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd (U.S. 42) in West Chester. Internment will follow after the funeral service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, OH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in honor of Clyde, to Valley Baptist Church, 101 Benson Rd, Reading, OH 45215
