Clyde Allen Schwartz, 57, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.
Clyde was born on January 13, 1968, in San Angelo to David William Schwartz and Betty Joyce Halfmann. A lifelong Texan, Clyde never met a stranger, he had a remarkable gift for connection and could strike up a conversation with anyone, turning acquaintances into friends with ease.
Known for his immaculate yard, kind spirit, and selfless heart, Clyde always put others before himself. His family was the center of his world, especially his children, whom he supported wholeheartedly in all their endeavors. He was their biggest fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, David William Schwartz, as well as his father in law, Timmy Franke.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Schwartz; his son, Conner Schwartz (Taylen); his daughter, Cambree Schwartz; grandchild, Cohen Schwartz. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Joyce Schwartz; siblings, James Schwartz (Cecilia), Jeffery Schwartz (Karen), Monica Schwartz; mother in law, Jackie Franke, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
Pallbearers for Clyde’s service will be Micheal Schwartz, Mason Schwartz, Colton Schwartz, Jake Schwartz, Adrienne Felder, Morgan Martin, Garrett Kalina, and Ross Kalina. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Schwartz, Randal Schwartz, Blake Franke, Clint Halfmann, Mark Ray, Neil Schwartz, Leon Braden, and Jimmy Don Jones.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wall, Texas. A funeral mass will follow on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., also at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Ambrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association to be used for purchase of belt buckle or scholarship in Clyde’s memory.
Clyde’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
