Clyde E. Stewart III

1933 - 2026

Clyde Edgar Stewart III, 92, of Conway, SC, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at his residence. He was a long-time resident of North Huntingdon and was born on July 14, 1933, in McKeesport, son of the late Clyde Edgar Stewart Jr. and Bessie A. Weinel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Stewart. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Carrie Ellen Stewart of Conway, SC, Clyde Edgar Stewart IV and his wife, Kathy, of Conway, SC, Craig E. Stewart of Pittsburgh, Clark E. Stewart and his wife, Tina, of North Huntington, and Clair E. Stewart and his wife, Karin, of New Orleans, LA; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five nephews and their families. Clyde graduated from McKeesport Vocational High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for many years to follow. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles and time spent with his family. A celebration of Clyde's life will be held at 2 p.m., Feb. 21, 2026, at Langston Baptist Church in Conway, SC.
