I wish I would have know your health was declining. You made such an impact on my life from teaching me how to drive to talking to me about life and how it really is. You will be greatly missed by many people who’s lives you touched.

Brian- I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad and Hugo employed my grandmother, as their notary for many years. I remember riding along with her and going in to "help with the paperwork". Your dad (and Hugo) were both such characters and unlike anyone else I'd ever met. May your dad rest in peace and you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have. I know he will be missed!

I worked with Coco for more than 20 years at Navarre Chevrolet, but I actually knew of him for much longer. I was in the 8th grade when I first heard the name Coco Rossitto. Coco lived his life to the fullest and never backed down from a challenge. He achieved much more in his life than most people knew. From playing football, baseball & softball to owning several businesses in the lake area, he did it all. He was most passionate about Saints, Tigers, fishing & Miller Lite. I am proud to have called him my friend & honored to have helped him in his time of need. Your dream has come true, you're walking again. RIP Ole Buddy!

I met Coco in the late 50's and early 60's at Oak Park Jr. High and we played football together. We continued playing at LaGrange Senior. Then when we graduated in 1966, and we went our separate ways. I went in the military service and he continued with schooling at McNeese. When I returned home, I would run into Coco at different locations and we were glad to see each other. After many years have gone by, he became ill and I began to question what had happen. Ronnie told me where he was staying and I went to visit him at his house. The next thing I know he was placed in a rehab facility and then moved to another facility where he could have constant care. I knew right then and there I had to do something for him. I had arranged transportation for him to join our class functions at different restaurants. That made his day. The biggest event was on June 15, 2019, Danny Guillory held a reunion for all the athletes weather you played football, baseball, basketball or any other kind of sport. I had arranged for Coco to attend that function and he drew a crowd around him. Everyone was glad to see him. That reunion made his day as well. Now, his time has ended. He will be missed by many and never forgotten. R.I.P. my dear friend.

It goes without saying that I have a heavy heart as I write this message. Coco was my sons father and at an early age he taught him about respect and how to be the man that he is today.
Brian, you were Cocos world and I know how much you idolized him as a child. Your father was a fighter and he never backed down from anything including the illness that he suffered from. This is the spirit that you have in you and Im so proud of you and your Uncle Ronnie for the care and dedication you both gave him when he became ill.
He treated you more like a best friend than a son, never missing a football or baseball game. Also, taking you fishing, hunting or on a golf course when you should have been in school.
Your Grandmother (MiMi) and I would always talk about the two of you and the bond that you both keep even when it was tested.
Know that your father is resting in peace with Hugo and Mimi. He will always be watching over you.

Co, I will miss you with every ounce of myself. I will take your beautiful hearts love and pull it into myself. You have been my friend and companion for so many years. I will miss you my loving companion in life. I left you that Tuesday afternoon August 20th after spending time with you not knowing it would be our last, irreplaceable moment. The last time I would hold your hand, hug you and pray with you and see those sparkling blue eyes. As the years stretch on before me, hold me up when I need your help and keep me strong. When my life is over, I pray you find me and hold me tight, walk with me. In the meantime, I will listen for the wind whisper to me, I will watch for a winking of a star, the full moon that we both loved and a rainy day with distant thunder, our favorite. All these are signs you send me, a message from above. Im so grateful that we had our time together, I will love and miss you Co !
