Cody Alan Brown, 34, of Mountain Home passed from this life on November 11, 2023 in Hunt, Texas

Visitation to celebrate the life of Cody Brown will be held 1-3:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Kerrville Funeral Home.

Cody was born April 11, 1989 in Lamesa, Texas to Lee Roy “Butch” Brown, Jr. and Barbara Middleton Brown.  Cody grew up and attended school in Ingram, and graduated Ingram Tom Moore High School.  In 2008, his passion for the care of animals led him to work at Freeman-Fritts Vet Clinic and Animal Shelter; his love for his work kept him there 15 years.  Cody had a heart of gold.  He loved all creatures great and small, and loved BIG.  He loved his family, his second family the Del Toros, his Freeman-Fritts family, and all of his friends.

Cody is preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Cullie Middleton; brother-in-law, Paul Seagraves; cousin, Christopher Rushing; uncle, Buddy Brandon; and aunt, Wanda Yarbrough.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Barbara Brown; sisters, Brandy Seagraves and Amber Brown; grandmother, Elizabeth Middleton; aunts and uncles, Connie Brandon, Del and Faye Rushing, Kay Brown, Darrell Yarbrough, Jerry and Jacqueline Stacy; several cousins and nieces and nephews, Derek Lamb, Ralea, Paige, and Brook Seagraves, Ethan, Alyssa, and Cassidy Hirayama; and great-nephews Kamden and Atlas.
