Coach Cody was the best coach I've ever had he always had a smile on his face and he made everyone laugh and he cheered everyone up.

Mr. Hendrix was a loving husband, an amazing coach, and a very loving teacher. He made so many people smile no matter what. We can and will get through this together. Blessings and prayers to his family. He will be watching over us. Remember that it takes a village.

What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man! I had the pleasure of coteaching with Cody for 2 years at Wakeland High School. He could light up a room like a Christmas tree. I can not fathom the number of people he positively impacted in his short life. I wish I could have been there for you, my friend as you were there to help so many. You will be sorely missed. I have a huge, Cody sized hole in my heart.

I had the pleasure of having Cody as not only my teacher in high school but also a as a big brother and father figure! He mace me believe in myself at a time in my life I needed it most. He truly was a gift from God! Only teacher to make me do my homework :) he taught me things I will teach my kids, they will teach their kids and so on. He will live forever! Love always the lil bro Vonathon

Mr. Hendrix was always smiling and cheering his students up on bad days. I didn´t have him as a teacher but I remember going to his class on bad days, so he could cheer me up with his jokes, high fives, hugs, and contagious smile. He was like the heart of Bettye Myers, and he still will be, but he will be watching us from Heaven. You will be so missed.
