Greencastle, IN. – Cody Lee Knotts, 32, of Greencastle, Indiana passed away on September 23, 2025 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cody was born in Anderson, Indiana on March 26, 1993 to George Knotts and Laurie (Bilbrey) Lyall.
He enjoyed life's simple treasures, going on walks, savoring good food, and spending time on the computer, a pastime that showed both his humor and his unique way of seeing the world. Those who knew Cody will always remember his bright smile, constant laughter, and his ability to make ordinary moments feel special. His life was a beautiful reminder to slow down and find joy in the everyday. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and all who were blessed to know him. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Bilbrey, Beulah Lyall.
Cody is survived by his mother, Laurie Lyall (Dennis); father, George Knotts (Samantha); sisters, Whitney Parks, Kayleigh Hummel, Kristionna Knotts; brothers, Davis Knotts, Matthew Lyall; grandmother, Alma Bilbrey; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
