Cole Wasinger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J. Warren Funeral Services Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel on Oct. 14, 2024.

Cole Alec Wasinger, born on June 4, 2007, in Buffalo, New York, left this world far too soon on October 8, 2024, in Maricopa, Arizona. He was a vibrant young man whose passion for life and boundless love touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Cole's interests consisted of many diverse ways to spend time. He was an avid gamer, a skillful basketball player, and a great fan of classic cars and motorcycles. Family game nights brought him joy, and he cherished the time spent with those he loved. For six years, he dedicated himself to competitive cheerleading, a testament to his remarkable spirit and determination.

He is survived by his loving family who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. His parents, Carolyn Szafranski, Joseph Szafranski, and Raymond Wasinger III, provided unwavering support and guidance throughout his life. Cole shared a special bond with his siblings: Hayla, Xander, Paige, and Andrew, with whom he created countless memories. He was also embraced by his brother-in-love, Zachary LeClair, and cherished his role as an uncle to his nephew, Weyman LeClair.

Cole's extended family included Deanna (John) Jeziorowski and Bernadette (Jim) Leicht, who will remember him fondly. His warmth and spirit will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew him.

Though he is preceded in death by his beloved pets, Nutmeg and Harley, his legacy will continue in the hearts of his family and friends. Cole’s life, though brief, was indeed filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. As we reflect on his remarkable journey, we celebrate a young man who touched many lives and made lasting impressions wherever he went. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday 10/15/2024 at Copper Sky Ramada 1, 44345 MLK Jr. Blvd, Maricopa, AZ, 85138 from 4-7 PM.
